Mandate To develop, utilise and manage nuclear technology for national and regional socio-economic development through: Applied R&D; Commercial application of nuclear and associated technology; Contributing to the development of skills in science and technology.
Job Purpose
To manage the execution of high-impact program’s projects within a multi-discipline environment and ensure that projects are executed within schedule, time scope, and budget.
Key Performance Areas:
Execution of dedicated projects in adherence to project plans, budgets and schedules.
Perform change request management, project tracking and document control activities.
Develop project scope, plan, deliverables, budget and milestones.
Develop project reports for management and clients.
Monitor project schedules regularly to determine any delays or deviations.
Prepare necessary presentations and updates as required.
Provide inputs and support in the preparation of all applicable contracts in accordance with the supply chain management and legal process.
Review contracts when required and issue amendments when applicable.
Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
Make sure that client’s needs are met as projects evolve.
Oversee project procurement management.
Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
Work with the Technical lead to eliminate scope creep.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
Ensure that all project management standards and requirements set by the project assurance and clients are met during project execution.
Ensure alignment and coordination with all internal and external stakeholders.
Chair and facilitate project meetings where appropriate and ensure that minutes are distributed to relevant stakeholders.
Ensure that project scope and objectives are clearly defined
Comply with all applicable SHEQ-INS requirements in order to implement relevant and effective systems throughout the project lifecycle.
Advise and manage the implementation of configuration management within the projects/programmes.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Beng Chemical Engineering.
Three (3) years’ Project management experience in a multi-disciplinary EPCM environment (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management) in the radiopharmaceutical industry of which the 3 years experience should be of working in the radioisotope project environment.
