Job Description
Draws merchandise from the stockroom as requested. Responsible for marking and bringing merchandise onto the floor and packing it onto the shelves.
Requirements
Grade 12 or NQF4
Experience in agricultural retail serve as recommendation
At least 1 – 3 years’ experience transport, warehousing, or logistics operations
Required to work weekends and public holidays as per roster
Knowledge of load planning, weight distribution, and safety regulations
Physically fit and able to manage heavy-duty tasks
Clear Criminal Record
Duties and Responsibilities
Plan, direct, and oversee the loading and unloading of cargo and goods
Ensure weight distribution and securing of loads comply with safety standards
Inspect cargo and documentation for accuracy before dispatch
Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, and warehouse staff
Keep accurate records of loads, movements, and reconciliations
Monitor and report any deviations, damages, or incidents during loading/unloading
