Description
The Equipment Controller Pecker Driver is responsible for breaking excess slag on the ladle pots using the slag breaking machines.
Ensure the pecker machine is in good working condition
Responsible for the slag breaking process using the TML
Complete TML pre-checks at the beginning of shift
Need to manage delays & assist maintenance where needed. (Transportation of equipment and spares)
Employ a systematic approach to achieving objectives/KPI

Requirements
Minimum National Senior Certificate/Metals Production NQF 4. with Math’s and Science.
Successfully completed the LSM program.
Ability to operate the TLM and execute all relevant tasks
Ability to operate and Excavator and Bob cat.
