Responsibilities:
Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve operational efficiency
Oversee the entire supply chain process including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
Manage logistics staff and third-party logistics providers.
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
Prepare logistics reports for upper management.
Maintain inventory accuracy and coordinate stock control.
Optimize routing and delivery schedules to minimize cost and environmental impact.
Manage budgets and negotiate contract with vendors and suppliers
Address any issues or complaints related to logistics services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
Proven experience as a Logistic Manager or similar role
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in logistics software, such as SAP, Oracle, or TMS
Knowledge of inventory management best practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus
