Using RMS for prices
Translate from English to Afrikaans and vice versa Ensure copy/format is in line with the style guide of the particular brand they are working on
Providing feedback on errors when manager requests it
Doing self as well as peer reviews
Managing deadlines and communicating with manager if deadline can’t be met
Help proofing across brands
Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualification
Proficient in MS Office (MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
A good command of both English and Afrikaans languages (superb language skills)
At least 2 years’ working experience in Proofreading and Editing (translating English and Afrikaans)
Experience in and knowledge of Adobe InDesign (will be advantageous)
Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
Team player with the ability to work independently
Attributes needed: Ability to work well under pressure, confident, energetic, proactive, reliable, accountable with good follow-through, meticulous with attention to detail
