UMALUSI
Main Duties:
Processing invoices and payments.
Reconciliation (bank, debtors and creditors) Revenue collection, billing, tracing of debtors.
Prepare monthly financial reports.
Compilation of the portfolio of evidence for the accounting records.
Implementation of internal controls, financial policies and procedure manuals.
Debtors, revenue, and cash management
Requirements:
National Certificate (Vocational), National Senior Certificate, Senior Certificate or equivalent National Qualifications Framework (NQF) Level 4 qualification.
Additional Advantage:
Degree or Diploma in Finance or Accounting.
Two (2) years’ experience in revenue, debtors and cash management.
Experience and knowledge of financial management in the public sector.
Experience in the compilation of debtor age analysis and revenue reports.
Sound knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (Act no. 1 of 1999), National Treasury Regulations, and Generally Recognised Accounting Practice (GRAP).
