Job Purpose
We are looking for a detail-oriented and well-organized Banking Clerk to support our daily financial and administrative operations. In this role, you will ensure accurate banking processes, effective reconciliations, and compliance with internal controls, contributing to the overall efficiency of the business.

Key Responsibilities
Perform daily posting and reconciliation of bank accounts
Load and process payments on internal systems and online banking platforms
Reconcile cash offices, petty cash, loan accounts, and credit cards
Process re-allocation journals and customer refunds
Handle daily SAFEX booking fee reports, including posting, reconciliation, and payments
Maintain a clean, organized, and disciplined work environment
Achieve Goal Alignment targets (minimum 85%) through active participation in Mini Business Health Meetings
Complete all administrative tasks accurately and on time, in line with operational guidelines
Identify, monitor, and report daily discrepancies
Prepare accurate daily bank reconciliation reports
Ensure all daily banking transactions are received, balanced, and finalized
Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and suppliers
Successfully complete all required training interventions
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric) with Accounting or a relevant qualification
Experience in banking, finance, or administrative roles
Strong numerical ability and reconciliation skills
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
