Your Role: Brand Custodian & Growth Driver

As the Brand Manager, you’ll oversee a list of allocated brands’ positioning, performance, and expansion, ensuring it resonates with consumers, retailers, and key market segments.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

Brand & Product Strategy

Manage the product portfolio and drive strategic product launches.
Align brands with consumer needs, key retailer groups, and regional market trends.
Analyse brand performance, conduct research and make recommendations for product portfolio improvements.
Implement growth drivers through trade activities, brand awareness campaigns, and national & tactical projects.

Sales & Market Insights

Analyse sales data, market trends, and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities.
Adapt brand strategies to reflect market shifts and retailer dynamics.
Ensure brands stay competitive through a clear understanding of the retail landscape.

Project Execution & Budget Management

Plan and execute marketing campaigns with the Brand Marketing Manager.
Work with internal teams and agencies to bring brand strategies to life.
Monitor performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize results.
Track and manage budgets to ensure the best ROI on marketing activities.

Retail & Trade Engagement

Strengthen brand presence across key retailers and distribution channels.
Engage with key account managers and execute activities to drive in-store visibility and sales growth.
Work closely with sales teams to align brand goals with retail execution.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

Brand Custodian – Experience in managing brand portfolios and market positioning.
Marketing Expert – Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Strategic Thinker – Proven experience in FMCG or the pet industry.
Data-Driven Decision Maker – Strong ability to analyse sales trends and consumer behaviour.
Campaign Leader – Skilled in trade activations, brand awareness, and tactical projects.
Retail-Savvy – Understanding of key retailer groups, channels, and competitive dynamics.
Tech-Savvy – Proficient in CRM tools and marketing software.
Office location: Centurion, Gauteng / Brackenfell, Western Cape
