Minimum Requirements
Appropriate 5 year (NQF 8) qualification within an Agricultural Science or Public Administration environment;
A minimum of 8 years appropriate senior management experience; and
The successful completion of the Senior Management Pre-entry Programme (see paragraph 4 in notes below).
Key Performance Areas
Enhance and sustain the departmental strategic direction in line with the strategic vision, budget and management plans, of both the Department and the Western Cape Government;
Oversee strategic line function management; Financial Management; People Management.
