Key Responsibilities:
Professionally manage telephone calls, messages, and patient scheduling
Prepare, scan, fax, and maintain patient files and documentation
Register patients on relevant systems (E-Auths, MED-E-MASS, NP Register, Profdoc, Mosaiq)
Maintain accurate records, statistics, and daily filing systems
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, reports, and correspondence
Assist with consultation fee collection, billing support, and authorization processes
Coordinate communication between patients, doctors, hospitals, and medical aids
Meet and greet patients and provide orientation for new patients
Ensure adherence to all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and support a smooth, patient-centred reception environment
Requirements
Required Minimum Education
Matric and Diploma in Management Assistance or Secretarial Certificate
Required Minimum Experience
2 Years in a medical or healthcare environment
