Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Lead to spearhead our Quality Assurance efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining our testing strategy, mentoring a growing team, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software across the entire SDLC.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Oversight: Lead and define the strategy for all levels of testing, including Unit, Integration, and End-to-End. Implement testing strategies, methodologies, and best practices to enhance the overall quality assurance process.
Quality Governance: Establish standards for writing maintainable, well-designed, and efficient tests and maintain it regularly.
Reporting & Communication: Architect the framework for tracking and communicating test results in an automated and timely manner to stakeholders.
CI/CD Leadership: Direct the maintenance and optimization of automated tests to ensure they execute reliably and efficiently within CI/CD pipelines.
Collaboration: Facilitate test coverage review sessions with product and development teams and lead cross-departmental efforts to drive continuous testing improvements throughout the SDLC.
Problem Solving: Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex issues and gather high-level requirements to build comprehensive testing solutions.
Accountability: Demonstrate and instill strong ownership and accountability for all quality deliverables within the team.
Mentorship: Actively mentor and grow the skills of QA Engineers, Juniors, and Interns. 
AI: Utilization of AI in daily workflows and drive AI adoption in your team.

Basic Requirements
Skills & Experience

Industry Experience: Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in Test Analysis (with at least 4 years in a lead role).
Technical Proficiency: Some experience in automation is a bonus.
Methodology: Extensive experience working in and leading teams within Agile and Scrum environments.
Test Design: Proven experience designing comprehensive test plans for complex existing and new functionalities. Reviewing test cases produced by the QA team members and continuously expanding existing test plans with new test cases as new features are added to products.
Platform Testing: Advanced experience with manual and automation testing of Browser based applications.
Advanced Tools: Expertise in implementing complex test cases and managing test records using Azure DevOps for Test Management.
Technical Stack: Mastery of Git and familiarity with automation solutions such as Playwright, Selenium or RestAssured.
Specialized Testing: Experience in API testing and Non-functional Testing (Load, Performance, and Security) using tools like k6, JMeter, or Gatling.
Frameworks: Strong practical application of BDD/TDD methodologies.
Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
