key performance areas of the role include:
Deliver high-quality HR administration across the employee lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
Support recruitment processes from job adverts to onboarding.
Coordinate induction and orientation to ensure a positive start for new employees.
Maintain accurate employee records and update the HRIS system.
Assist with performance management processes and staff development initiatives.
Support employee engagement and wellness programmes.
Handle general HR queries from staff in a professional and timely manner.
Assist with ad-hoc day-to-day general administrative work in the Human Resource Department.
Handle all exit interviews and gather all exit compensation documents and submit timeously to payroll.
Support a healthy and supportive culture among management and staff that adhere to the NACOSA values
Uphold and exemplify NACOSA, its vision, mission, values, and objectives, etc.
Requirements
A diploma or degree in Human Resources or related field.
3+ years in an HR administrative or similar role.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labour legislation.
Previous NGO experience is required.
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office and HR systems (e.g., Sage, Pay Space, or similar)
Working understanding of applicant tracking systems and recruitment job portals.
A valid driver’s license and own vehicle
