Job Requirements
Systems Integration & Technical Leadership
Define system architecture, boundaries, and interfaces
Align URS, FDS, and detailed engineering design across disciplines
Lead technical integration between internal teams and external partners
Process Engineering & Plant Lifecycle Oversight
Lead concept, basic, and detailed design of process systems
Oversee construction, commissioning, optimisation, and operation of pilot and commercial plants
Drive continuous improvement and production optimisation initiatives
Safety, Risk & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with nuclear safety, environmental, and statutory regulations
Lead and review HAZOP, FMEA, SIL, and other safety assessments
Integrate ALARA principles into process and system design
Support licensing, audits, and regulatory submissions
Configuration & Change Management
Manage engineering change processes and configuration control
Ensure integrity and traceability of technical documentation
Project & Stakeholder Interface
Provide technical leadership and advisory support to project teams
Interface with operations, maintenance, procurement, and quality functions
Represent Engineering Services in technical governance forums
Leadership & Mentorship
Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical teams
Provide oversight to multi-disciplinary teams during project execution and plant operation
Minimum Qualifications:
BEng / BSc Engineering (Chemical Engineering)
Professional Engineer (PrEng)
Minimum Experience:
Minimum 3+ year’s post-graduate experience in chemical/process engineering environment.
Proven experience in:
Design, construction, commissioning, and operation of pilot and commercial plants
Implementation of engineering changes and plant optimisation strategies
Technology and engineering support to operational production plants
