Description
Ecowize is seeking an entry-level Technical Service Agent responsible for ensuring that satellite units remain fully operational by performing preventative maintenance in accordance with the service schedule.
The role also involves continuously identifying opportunities for improvement to optimise resources; including manpower, energy, and water – through effective utilisation of industrial washing systems and participation in time-study initiatives
Responsibilities:
Ensure that customer needs are meet by providing technical expertise to site manager, cleaning team, technical sales consultant, and customer.
Manage, resolve complaints, and advise internal/external stakeholders on corrective action.
Managing of the budget and ensuring that maintenance and cost are kept as low as possible, this includes asset management and driving of efficiencies and innovation.
To ensure that application of audit procedures conform to the clients quality standards
To determine the precision and accuracy in chemical verification
Managing of Health and Safety, this includes ensuring that service is carried out in full compliance with the health and safety together with the environmental requirements.
Provide effective solutions to address site pain points from a maintenance perspective.
To provide routine maintenance for chemical dosing pumps and to keep the system functioning.
Provide onsite assistance and training to the operations team.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent
Qualification in Food Science or related field will be an advantage
Previous experience in a food processing environment
A valid driver’s licence (Company vehicle will be provided)
Ability and willingness to work night shift as and when required.

Safety and compliance awareness – understands the importance of health, safety, food safety and environmental standards, with a responsible approach to following procedures
