QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12
Code EC / 14 Drivers License
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 2 years’ experience in civil and road maintenance work
Medically fit
Ensure work is executed safely and according to procedures
Due to Care and Maintenance environment person must be able to work independently
JOB OBJECTIVES
In this role you will be responsible to the Co-ordinator (Mechanical) for the following:
Operating different TMM`s like the Water Truck, Grader, Front End Loader, TLB, Roller – compactor; Excavator, Tractor or LDV in an efficient and safe manner
The operators are responsible for lifting and moving materials, tools or equipment around the plant or at a construction site as required
Setting up and operating the Water Truck, Grader, Front End Loader, TLB, Roller – compactor, Excavator, Tractor or LDV
When required the role supports the projects team in their duties
Completing the pre use checklist prior to operation
Active participation during the risk assessments
