Description
Attend and facilitate classroom sessions on mining theory, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Ensure consistent quality delivery of training.
Take responsibility for the health and safety of employees within the designated area of responsibility.
Ensure compliance with all site safety procedures and regulations within the Underground Training Centre.
Plan and coordinate Mining Cycle activities
Attend standards committee meetings.
Update mining learning material.
Maintain and abide to Barberton Mines’ Training Quality Management System.
Accurate reporting and administration of training activities and Learnerships.
Liaise with legislators on training matters.
Requirements
Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent NQF 4 qualifications and/or similar qualification.
Blasting Certificate for Hard Rock.
Facilitator, Assessor and Moderator Certificate.
Occupationally Directed Education, Training and Development Practices (OD-ETDP) Level 4 certificate.
Minimum of 2 years Mining Training Experience.
Minimum of 2 years as a Production Shiftboss
Computer Literacy
Strong communication skills with people on different levels.
Valid Certificate of physical fitness
Valid Driver License code 8.
