Knowledge and abilities:<\/p>\n
\tSolid understanding of electrical distribution systems, switchgear, lighting, and energy efficiency products.
\n\tAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings, technical specifications, and tender documents.
\n\tExcellent communication and presentation skills.
\n\tStrong relationship-building and client-facing abilities.
\n\tProficient in MS Office; familiarity with design\/specification software is advantageous.
\n\tSelf-motivated, with the ability to manage time and priorities across multiple projects.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tIdentify and secure specification opportunities across new and ongoing construction and refurbishment projects.
\n\tProvide expert product knowledge and technical support to consulting engineers, specifiers, and project managers.
\n\tEnsure MCE Electric\u2019s product portfolio is included in design specifications, tender documents, and procurement packages.
\n\tDeliver tailored product presentations, technical training, and CPD sessions to stakeholders.
\n\tStay informed on market trends, regulations, and standards affecting electrical systems (e.g., SANS, IEC, local compliance codes).
\n\tWork closely with internal sales and technical teams to align customer needs with product offerings.
\n\tDevelop and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in the project specification process.
\n\tMaintain a database of specified projects and provide regular reporting on activity and outcomes.<\/p>\n
