Job Purpose<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for the provision of quality assurance on IT development by ensuring that all software deployments are as per business requirement specifications on all systems.
\n\tEnhance the image of the company through the continuous delivery of efficient and effective customer service.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Test Planning and Design<\/p>\n
\tAnalyzing the product specification
\n\tDesigning test cases based on product specification and acceptance criteria.<\/p>\n
Test Execution and Reporting<\/p>\n
\tExecute test cases.
\n\tFunctional test scripts.
\n\tPerformance test scripts.
\n\tReview and analyze results from executed test cases.
\n\tDefect management.
\n\tIdentify and Log Defects.
\n\tFollow up on all outstanding defects with developers.
\n\tRetest all resolved defects (both in projects and maintenance).
\n\tCompile a test summary.
\n\tAssist in the user acceptance testing activity for projects and maintenance initiatives.
\n\tAttend CAB meetings leading up to deployment in production.
\n\tIn conjunction with Business Analysts, provide support to learning area in the development and signoff of training material particularly on systems.
\n\tExecute sanity and regression test cases in UAT environment.
\n\tMaintains awareness of best practices and industry standards.<\/p>\n
Reporting<\/p>\n
\tReports: Provide complete and professional written reports.
\n\tRecordkeeping to be always kept up to date.<\/p>\n
Stakeholder Engagement<\/p>\n
\tRelationship Management: Interact frequently with colleagues, business representatives in a professional manner.
\n\tTake ownership of queries and offer possible solutions to the various stakeholders \/ clients and ensure all are resolved and feedback given to relevant parties.
\n\tContinuously build and manage the relationships.<\/p>\n

Customer Service & TCF<\/p>\n
\tEnsure customers are treated fairly and that TCF management is done in conjunction with the Academy. Maintain a high level of service to customers (internal and external) according to the service standards as set by the company.
\n\tGeneral: When required perform any other duties necessary for the operational effectiveness of the company that is within your ability and scope.
\n\tRequired Knowledge and Experience\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
Required Experience<\/p>\n
\t5 years of Test analyst experience in Software Testing \/ Quality Assurance in a SAFE\/AGILE environment
\n\tTesting Tool experience e.g. MS Test Manager, JIRA, Selenium, Load Testing (Jmeter), PostMan, SoapUI, SQL Data Management Studio, Service Bus Explorer
\n\tMinimum of 2 years Life Insurance experience (Preferable).<\/p>\n

\n\tSoftware Testing \/ Quality Assurance certifications.
\n\tRecognised Testing certification e.g. ISEB, ISTQB.
\n\tAzure Fundamentals (Preferable).<\/p>\n
