\n\tPrepare financial accounts and statutory reporting\u00a0
\n\tAccounting Systems\u00a0
\n\tFinancial Report\u00a0
\n\tCheck & oversee the work of Finance Administrator\u00a0<\/p>\n
Performs tasks associated with the administrative and reporting requirements of the function.<\/p>\n
\tDefine tasks and project milestones to ensure systematic planning of the prioritised objectives\u00a0
\n\tOversees professional indexes and manage the control of information flow\u00a0
\n\tImplement the document management and Archives Acts for the storing of digital and hard copy documents.\u00a0
\n\tActively manages all financial resources, facilities and assets to ensure maximum benefit, value for money and manageability of risks\u00a0
\n\tManage staff effectively within division to ensure personal contribution to the successful achievement of the organization\u2019s vision, policies and programmes\u00a0
\n\tPrepare reports on the activities of the Division outlining objectives and accomplishment of outcomes.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Audit Preparation\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tAssist in preparing an annual audit file\u00a0
\n\tAssist in monitoring GL on a regular basis to ensure compliance for audit purposes\u00a0
\n\tAssist in monitoring audit action plans and prepare recommendations\/comments on all audit findings\u00a0
\n\tAssist with co-ordinating the annual closure programme in respect of the accounts\u00a0
\n\tAssist in promoting the importance of adherence to the financial control environment, specifically, the maintenance of SABFS Financial Policy\u00a0<\/p>\n
Supply Chain Management\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tOversee the SCM process\u00a0
\n\tEnsure adheres to the SCM policy in all processes\u00a0<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tB. Com Degree and a professional qualification and registration such as CIMA, ACA of ACCA\u00a0
\n\tComputer literate and able to communicate clearly to non-finance staff\u00a0
\n\tExtensive and practical knowledge of the public sector financial management and supply chain management environment\u00a0
\n\tSound knowledge and understanding of Corporate Governance\u00a0
\n\tSound knowledge in Governance, ethics and values in Financial Management\u00a0
\n\tKnowledge of PFMA and GRAP\u00a0
\n\tA minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in a similar position\u00a0<\/p>\n
