\nSKILLS YOU SHOULD HAVE<\/p>\n
\tIT related Degree or Diploma. MCSA, MCSE or similar qualifications (very beneficial)
\n\tA minimum of 2-3+ years’ experience as a System Engineer \/ Network Support Engineer \/ DevOps Engineer \/ or .NET Developer
\n\tExperience working with Cloud Environments \u2013 Microsoft Azure (preferred)
\n\tAzure Admin Associate certificate – very advantageous
\n\tExperience with Cloud backup strategies, automation, disaster recovery strategies, cloud security
\n\tExperience maintaining Cloud storage networks, backup and data retention policies
\n\tGood understanding of CI\/CD processes \u2013 Microsoft DevOps (preferred)
\n\tGood understanding of source control best practice and branching strategies, using tools like GIT, Bitbucket, Sourcetree
\n\tDevOps tools and process \u2013 Docker; Kubernetes; GIT; New Relic; JIRA (very advantageous)
\n\tFirewall Management; Virtual Network Gateways; VPN
\n\tScripting experience i.e. BASH or Python or PowerShell
\n\tAbility to write SQL database scripts (advantageous, not mandatory)
\n\tAbility to create and maintaining SQL databases
\n\tA solid understanding of web development technologies and processes and how they all work together. For example, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .NET or PHP, Databases
\n\tExperience with Telephony and VOIP systems
\n\tExcellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolving technical issues, database anomalies, website performance issues related to underlying database issues or Cloud app service infrastructure.
\n\tSolid communication and project management skills
\n\tExperience providing and supporting client service level agreements (SLA\u2019s) and responding to our clients during outages, downtime etc. within SLA timeframes<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\tMaintaining the internal Bluegrass core IT infrastructure
\n\tManage and maintain the internal Bluegrass company network; firewalls; VPN; Microsoft Entra products and services
\n\tSetup and management of all Bluegrass employee hardware and devices and ensuring the company asset register is maintained for insurance purposes
\n\t1st line support for managing and troubleshooting any user hardware related issues
\n\tManage existing and setup of new employees, within the Bluegrass Azure directory and environments
\n\tManage the existing telephony and Microsoft Teams phone systems with 3rd party vendors
\n\tManage 3rd party suppliers and vendor contracts and relationships
\n\tManage Azure app service subscriptions, including monitoring application insights and logs for potential issues
\n\tSupport the development team with project deployments; troubleshooting application issues from a Cloud perspective; database support etc
\n\tMaintain DevOps pipelines and troubleshoot deployment related issues
\n\tAssist with the maintenance of monthly Platform Operations automation and test scripts
\n\tCreate standards & process documentation and maintain existing documentation.<\/p>\n
