{"id":10121,"date":"2025-05-09T12:04:03","date_gmt":"2025-05-09T12:04:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/corporate-sales-manager\/"},"modified":"2025-08-10T00:25:00","modified_gmt":"2025-08-10T00:25:00","slug":"corporate-sales-manager","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/?post_type=job_listing&p=10121","title":{"rendered":"Corporate Sales Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Corporate Sales Manager is responsible for managing the Corporate Sales Team, including new corporate business and account management of existing clients, ensuring the achievement of sales performance to set Master Plans.<br \/>\n\tProviding input and implement the sales strategy for the Corporate Sales Team.<br \/>\n\tSetting revenue targets for the sales teams and setting key performance indicators.<br \/>\n\tMeeting with the sales team on a weekly basis to assess performance against KPI\u2019s, and<br \/>\n\tconduct Bi-annual performance appraisals.<br \/>\n\tMentoring and coaching Sales teams.<br \/>\n\tManagement of under-performing sales staff.<br \/>\n\tWorking closely with the corporate sales team members in order to secure corporate accounts and establish professional relationships within identified Key\/Global Accounts.<br \/>\n\tImplementing a variety of business initiatives and plans to drive sales leads.<br \/>\n\tEnsuring the CRM (Sales Force) is being used effectively and provides a competitive advantage.<br \/>\n\tDevelop business relationships with Global sales team.<br \/>\n\tPresenting Sales reports to management on a monthly and quarterly basis.<br \/>\n\tAnalyse the sales activities of competitors and taking appropriate action to counter competitor activity.<br \/>\n\tImplementing an effective sales pipeline and lead tracking in salesforce.<br \/>\n\tProvide on-going training for sales representatives so that they possess sufficient sales skills and technical knowledge.<br \/>\n\tWorking with the management committee on budgeting and planning, compensation programs and incentive plans.<br \/>\n\tNegotiating agreements and contracts with customers and ensuring they are up to date and relevant.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that all contracts are in line with the proposals and are commercially sound.<br \/>\n\tEnsure full use of all digital processes including Salesforce.com and Cloud Quote.<br \/>\n\tEstablish effective relationships and collaborations with other departments (Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, etc.) to address key business issues and opportunities.<br \/>\n\tManagement of the Sales Methodology and best practice in sales techniques throughout the department by thorough implementation<br \/>\n\tManage the sales administration function, streamlining processes and systems.<br \/>\n\tReport timeously on sales performance vs P\/Y, S\/P and M\/P<br \/>\n\tA minimum of 10 years experience in the ICT or Office Automation industry.<br \/>\n\t\u00b7 +\/- 5 yrs Sales Management Experience in the ICT or Office Automation industry, with a track record of achieving sales growth and delivery of results to business plans.<br \/>\n\tCRM Experience, Salesforce preferable<br \/>\n\tExperience and success in recruiting and retaining a high performance sales team and a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse sales team.<br \/>\n\tBCom Degree or Business Management Certification .<\/p>\n<p>Knowledge and Skills<\/p>\n<p>\tAbility to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.<br \/>\n\tStrong communication and team management skills<br \/>\n\tAnalytical skills with a problem solving ability.<br \/>\n\tAbility to build positive working relationships, both internally and externally.<br \/>\n\tAbility to effectively present information and negotiate with all levels of management.<br \/>\n\tDemonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.<br \/>\n\tProven business analysis and judgement with the ability to proactively manage business and P&amp;L to meet objectives.<br \/>\n\tDemonstrated ability to professionally develop and coach team members<br \/>\n\tStrategy development, project management, problem solving, and change management skills.<br \/>\n\tCompetent with MS Office applications to an intermediate level (Outlook, Word and Excel)<br \/>\n\tPresentation Skills<br \/>\n\tStrong Commercial outlook and an entrepreneurial approach to business development.<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( http:\/\/www.dav.co.za\/ ) or<\/p>\n<p>www.aplitrak.com<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/www.aplitrak.com","_company_name":"DAV Professional Placement Group","_company_website":"http:\/\/www.dav.co.za\/","_company_tagline":"DAV is proudly known as South Africa's longest-standing, most experienced specialist recruitment company and our mission is to continue this 41 year old legacy.
