Position Overview:<\/p>\n
\tWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Administrator to join our IT department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting our IT infrastructure, with a focus on servers maintainance, Windows environments, and server hardware. The role also requires strong network knowledge and experience in desktop support, including hardware, software, and peripherals. The candidate must be willing to work after hours when required.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tConfigure, maintain, and troubleshoot physical and virtual (HyperV) server environments.
\n\tManage and support Windows desktop and server environments, ensuring optimal performance.
\n\tAdminister and troubleshoot server hardware, including installation and upgrades.
\n\tProvide desktop hardware and software support to end-users, including printers and other peripherals.
\n\tConfigure and maintain Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
\n\tMaintain and monitor network systems, ensuring stability and security.
\n\tManage TCP\/IP configurations, VPN setups, and cable management.
\n\tAssist with network firewall configuration and maintenance.
\n\tProvide support for MS SQL databases.
\n\tManage backup software.
\n\tManage anti-virus software.
\n\tPerform backups, system upgrades, and patch management as required.<\/p>\n
Required Skills & Experience:<\/p>\n
\tStrong knowledge of Windows desktop and server environments.
\n\tExperience with HyperV configuration and maintenance.
\n\tFamiliarity with server hardware (installations, upgrades, troubleshooting).
\n\tExperience supporting desktop hardware and software, printers, and peripherals.
\n\tNetwork knowledge, including TCP\/IP, VPN, and cable management.
\n\tExperience with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
\n\tKnowledge of network security and firewalls (beneficial).
\n\tExperience with MS SQL (beneficial).
\n\tKnowledge of backup software, such as VEEAM (beneficial).
\n\tWillingness to work after hours when required.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tA+ certification (required).
\n\tMicrosoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE) are beneficial.
\n\tRelevant networking certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+).
\n\tMinimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
\n\tStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
\n\tExcellent communication and customer service skills.<\/p>\n
