Position Description:<\/p>\n
\tThe Bench Tech is required to support all IPC & PAC technical functions in the Gauteng region. \u00a0This will include but not limited to Servicing, Fault-finding\/troubleshooting & Repairs on all IPC & PAC systems. Maintaining strong customer relations is essential during service intervals and repairs conducted at customer facilities. A High efficiency is required in turnaround times and in completing services & repairs to improve on customer satisfaction and maximize customer retention.<\/p>\n
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. \u00a0The requirement list below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and\/or ability required.
\n\tService & repair IPC & PAC equipment to full working capacity.
\n\tSchedule and attend onsite customer services and repairs
\n\tFill in and complete job cards for any service repairs, warranties completed
\n\tPrepare and regularly track service intervals for IPC \u00a0& PAC systems \u00a0
\n\tAccurately diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in a timeous manner.
\n\tPlan trips to outline areas to service equipment and attend to service related queries.
\n\tMaintain high levels of service and technical support to all customers
\n\tFill out service certifications for equipment serviced
\n\tEnsure software calibrations are updated with latest \u00a0versions\u00a0
\n\tMaintain adequate stock control management for planned repairs and services.
\n\tComplete warranty repairs and provide inspection reports to QRC
\n\tComplete field actions or as required by the quality team
\n\tMaintain and follow up on warranty processors and procedures for all intended repairs.
\n\tAssist with queries at hospitals and customer sites.
\n\tMaintain good customer relationships
\n\tComplete daily activity & \u00a0reports on a daily basis or as required by supervisor\u00a0
\n\tMaintain company vehicle in good condition.
\n\tKeep records on vehicle mileage and route planners
\n\tAdhere to safety protocols and quality standards on all Arjo products.<\/p>\n
Qualification (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):<\/p>\n
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.<\/p>\n
\tMust be available to work night shift
\n\tMinimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
\n\tRelevant tertiary qualification will be an advantage.
\n\tStrong electronic & technical mindset.
\n\tBasic computer literacy skills in MS Excel and Outlook.
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license (Code 08\/EB)
\n\tMinimum experience in driving company vehicle of at least 2 years.
\n\tAbility to work independently. Excellent time management skills.
\n\tExcellent communication skills.
\n\tUnderstanding of Arjo products will be an advantage
\n\tAttention to detail.
\n\tCustomer Service Orientated.
\n\tOrganized. \u00a0
\n\tMust be available to work overtime on adhoc basis
\n\tMust be available to travel nationally when needed or required.<\/p>\n
