\tTo install, maintain mechanical and electrical machinery and\/or equipment within the company in accordance with standard repair all operating procedures and legal requirements.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tPlan preventative maintenance\u00a0
\n\tSchedule maintenance
\n\tSchedule\/plan for\/around breakdowns and shutdowns.
\n\tEnsure adherence to the Quality requirements.
\n\tEnsure FSSC compliance.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure HSE compliance, knowledge and understanding of the legal requirements to ensure that they are followed.\u00a0
\n\tContinuous improvement planning\u00a0
\n\tPlanning and scheduling of tasks\u00a0
\n\tEstablishing the mean time between failure and downtime infrastructure
\n\tIdentify business improvement opportunities within the organisation.
\n\tDrive the KPI\u2019s for the team members.
\n\tMentoring the department\/ maintenance team
\n\tRecommend changes in training, working practices and processes.
\n\tProviding technical expertise to the team
\n\tPut effort into the training and development of the maintenance team by:
\n\tDeveloping and implementing a training matrix
\n\tDeveloping and implementing a skills development programme
\n\tProgramme identification<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Requirements<\/p>\n
\tNational Diploma or BTech degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is essential.
\n\tTrade test – Mechanical\/Electrical or Millwright is essential.
\n\tA certificate in FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 14000, ISO 18001 advantageous, or in-depth working experience.
\n\tMinimum of 3 years in an artisan role, with 1 year experience in a supervisory position in a large production plant.
\n\tExpert knowledge of maintenance tasks in large production plants
\n\tBasic knowledge and understanding in Lean Manufacturing – 5 S, TPM and WCM<\/p>\n
