An established international manufacturer of specialised agrochemicals requires the above to be responsible for driving business growth by supporting agents and distributors with technical advice, product training, and crop solutions while managing regional logistics, stock forecasting, and demonstration trials. The ideal candidate is based within the area in Christiana, Lichtenburg, Potchefstroom, Kroonstad, Bloemfontein, Bethlehem or Douglas.<\/p>\n
Minimum requirements for the role:<\/p>\n
\tMust have a relevant National Diploma or Degree in Agriculture
\n\tMust have an AVCASA or BASOS certificate, or must be obtained within a year
\n\tMinimum 3 – 5 years\u2019 experience within a similar role
\n\tComputer literate in Microsoft applications is essential
\n\tMust have a valid drivers\u2019 license and be willing to travel when required<\/p>\n
The successful candidate will be responsible for:<\/p>\n
\tDeveloping and implementing strategies for business growth within the area.
\n\tDesigning and developing innovative products with the Product Development Team.
\n\tProviding technical advice to agents on the use of products on various crops.
\n\tHelping distributors to develop solutions for crops.
\n\tHelping to manage logistics and supply chain arrangements for depots regarding stock.
\n\tManaging forecasts within the area for each depot or sales agent.
\n\tProviding training on products or crops for study groups or distributors.
\n\tManaging and controlling consignment stock in depots to increase sales and reduce stock levels (in coordination with the logistics department).
\n\tVisiting all agents allocated to the area from time to time (at least once every 1-2 months, depending on the number of agents).
\n\tDoing demonstration trials and reporting on results.<\/p>\n
