To qualify for this position, you need:<\/p>\n
\tCompleted BCom, Management Accounting or Financial Management
\n\tComputer literate
\n\tExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n\tWorking knowledge of Word and Excel.
\n\tDeadline driven and able to work independently.
\n\tValid driver’s license and own transport available during office hours.<\/p>\n
Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:<\/p>\n
\tCapture transactions in accounting records.
\n\tPerform reconciliations.
\n\tPerform bookkeeping to trial balance.
\n\tInterpreting clients\u2019 accounting records and compiling annual financial statements (IFRS for SME\u2019).
\n\tPerform tax calculations and complete income tax returns and provisional tax returns.
\n\tPerform VAT and PAYE calculations in order to submit returns on E-filing.
\n\tAssist accountants with various client matters, including administrative work.
\n\tResolve queries.
\n\tPerforming tasks required in terms of the SAIPA competency framework.
\n\tAny other tasks related to the role as a SAIPA Trainee Accountant.<\/p>\n
