Key Performance Output<\/p>\n
The successful candidate will be reporting to\u00a0Senior Manager Airport Security, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:<\/p>\n
\tDevelopment of the Airport Security Plan and ensure implementation of the Standard Operating Procedures.
\n\tManage & coordinate overall airport security i.e. resource allocations, passenger screening, cargo, commercial security, general aviation and all other security related services.
\n\tManage capacity and demand for staffing and resources related to security to mitigate any risks.
\n\tEnsure business continuity during emergency situations\u00a0
\n\tDevelop and Implement Cargo and General Aviation Security Plan for the Airport precinct.
\n\tEnsure that all standards for the stakeholders security plan aligns with the part 108 requirements.
\n\tDevelop General Aviation, Cargo, Mail, Catering Security Strategy & Regulatory Compliance Plan.
\n\tDevelop & Review HBS Security Plan for the Airport in accordance with the national requirements.
\n\tProvide an operational advisory role to the business regarding HBS, regulatory requirement and infrastructure.
\n\tLead and Guide Business Continuity Management (BCM) processes at the Airport.\u00a0
\n\tMonitor, Review, provide report to relevant stakeholders such as Executive Committee, National Key Points and Aviation Security Committee, and help Improve Business Continuity Processes.
\n\tEnsure compliance and adherence with the relevant SOP\u2019s, policies and legislations.
\n\tInvestigate and Report All Security incidents\/deficiencies, non-conformances, complaints and implement relevant remedial action.
\n\tEnsure crime prevention measures are in place and all criminal activities are reported.
\n\tProvide input into the Airport Security Program\u00a0
\n\tEnsure Compliance to ASQ & QMS targets.
\n\tProactively plan, manage and organise security activities.\u00a0
\n\tIdentify and implement contingency plans to mitigate identified security risks.
\n\tEnsure continuous liaison and communication takes place with relevant cluster senior manager security.
\n\tEnsure all relevant reports and submissions takes place as and when required to the respective stakeholders.
\n\tEnsure all approvals pertaining to security are obtained from Cluster Senior Manager Security
\n\tAttend all meetings within the cluster management
\n\tEnsure all internal and external stakeholders comply with security policies and procedures.
\n\tEnsure contract management is in line with SLA where applicable (KSIA & ORTIA AVSEC).
\n\tManage procurement processes & SLA of service providers.
\n\tEstablish and maintain good working relationship with relevant stakeholders such as internal staff, local government agencies, SAPS, relevant organised labours, customers etc.
\n\tProvide training and or capacity building for relevant stakeholders.
\n\tManage budget, assets and expenditure for the relevant area.
\n\tManage any relevant project process that takes place within the area.
\n\tManage & coordinate risks and threats and any security technology advancements
\n\tContribute and Manage Human Resources Processes such as Leave Management, Recruitment, Performance Management, Skills Development and Employee Relations Matters etc within the area of operation with the support of the Human Resources Business Partner.<\/p>\n
Technical Skills and Experience<\/p>\n
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required:<\/p>\n
\tA Bachelor\u2019s Degree NQF Level 7 (3 Years \u2013 360 credits) in\u00a0Security or equivalent is essential.
\n\tNQF Level 6 Diploma in\u00a0IATA \/ ACI is recommended.
\n\t5 Years of relevant Operational experience
\n\t3 Years of relevant management experience
\n\tPrivate Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) Grade A is recommended.
\n\tNational Key Point (NKP) Certification will be an added advantage.
\n\tNational Key Point Authorised Officer is recommended.
\n\tFirearm Competency will be an added advantage.
\n\tIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
\n\tCode 8 Motor Vehicle licence\u00a0<\/p>\n
