Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tConsulting with clients in an advisory capacity.
\n\tDesign and implementation of solutions that meet business requirements, which could range from researching and implementing off-the-shelf applications through to designing bespoke applications.
\n\tRun workshops with clients to elicit business requirements and use cases.
\n\tProduct backlog development.
\n\tDrafting user stories.
\n\tBusiness case development.
\n\tProject scoping and quoting.
\n\tBusiness solution architecture & solution design.\u00a0
\n\tContributing to innovation within the business analysis and product ownership domain.
\n\tMentorship of more junior members of the team.
\n\tDelivery using agile methodologies including SCRUM.
\n\tLead cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to successfully implement IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
\n\tMonitor project progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
\n\tCollaborate with key stakeholders, in particular C suite stakeholders, to define project budgets, scope, deliverables, and success criteria.
\n\tCoordinate user acceptance testing, change management, and training activities to maximize user adoption and minimize disruptions.
\n\tCollaborate with vendors to negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and ensure service levels meet business expectations.
\n\tCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions, leveraging technology, data analytics, and industry-specific methodologies.
\n\tShare knowledge, best practices, and industry insights with the consulting team to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
\n\tCollaborate with colleagues on internal initiatives, contributing to the growth and success of the consulting practice.<\/p>\n
Job requirements<\/p>\n
\t8+ years prior experience in a business analysis \/ product owner role.
\n\tPrior work experience in designing custom software solutions using an agile methodology.
\n\tStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, effectively engaging at all levels of the organization.
\n\tStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions which meet business needs.
\n\tProficiency in analyzing complex business requirements and translating them into IT solutions.
\n\tAbility to multitask, prioritize work effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
\n\tExperience in vendor management
\n\tPrior work experience in an off-the-shelf system selection process or have been involved in an off-the-shelf system implementation.
\n\tPrior work experience in a consultancy environment interacting directly with external clients.
\n\tAbility to multi-task across multiple projects at a given time.
\n\tAbility to work towards deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations.
\n\tExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\u202f
