The Role<\/p>\n
\tAdministers and operates the organization’s warehouse, including processing, packaging, storage of supplies, materials and equipment and delivery of materials and equipment underground to the mine operators.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tAccount for all materials and supplies in the store facilities.
\n\tAudit goods received into warehouse.
\n\tReceive, store and issue materials, and perform related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
\n\tConduct cycle counts and full stock takes
\n\tConduct stock control, issuing and analysis of rock tool material and equipment as per established standards
\n\tEnsure the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
\n\tComply with all aspects of the Sandvik EHS policy and any reasonable instruction, procedures or systems of work which are given in the interest of providing safe workplaces and eliminating environmental harm<\/p>\n
Profile Required<\/p>\n
\tMatric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
\n\tCertificate in Logistics or Supply Chain (would be an advantage)
\n\tMinimum of 2 years\u2019 experience in a similar position in a Warehousing\/Distribution\/Supply Chain\/Mining environment
\n\tIntermediate MS Excel experience
\n\tProven ability to work efficiently within an underground environment and complete duties in an autonomous manner
\n\tCommitment to excellence and timeliness in customer service
\n\tPositive attitude and willingness to learn
\n\tStrong and proven focus on business and process improvement
\n\tAbility to adapt to change
\n\tLateral thinker and problem solver
\n\tEnglish proficiency
\n\tValid driver\u2019s licence<\/p>\n
