Description<\/p>\n
\tThe Visual Display Assistant supports the execution of world-class visual merchandising standards across all retail stores. Working closely with the Visual Display Manager, this role ensures brand consistency, assists with product display implementation, and supports the coordination of new store openings. The incumbent will conduct regular store visits to assess visual execution and assist in training and leading merchandising teams on-site.<\/p>\n

\tEnsure the consistent application of brand-approved product merchandising guidelines.
\n\tAssist with visual layout execution, including focal points, window displays, mannequin styling, and zoning.
\n\tProvide hands-on support in implementing promotional campaigns and seasonal changes.
\n\tIdentify and report issues related to poor execution or product presentation.<\/p>\n
People<\/p>\n
\tSupport store teams with informal, on-the-floor training on visual merchandising expectations.
\n\tAssist the Visual Display Manager in coaching in-store merchandisers during visits.
\n\tLead and coordinate small merchandising teams during new store setups or major display changes.
\n\tAct as a brand ambassador by influencing in-store teams on visual excellence.<\/p>\n
Protection<\/p>\n
\tEnsure visual elements are installed safely, following display protocols and safety standards.
\n\tReport damaged fixtures, signage, or materials that could impact on the in-store customer experience.
\n\tSupport the safe storage, transport, and setup of visual materials during store visits and projects.<\/p>\n
Place<\/p>\n
\tConduct store visits to assess alignment with visual standards and customer experience goals.
\n\tTrack and report on store readiness for trade from a visual presentation perspective.
\n\tCapture photographic evidence of before-and-after visuals during promotional or seasonal implementations.
\n\tAssist with optimizing store layouts and visual flows during openings or refurbishments.<\/p>\n
Customer Service<\/p>\n
\tEnsure visual merchandising contributes to an-enhanced in-store experience for customers.
\n\tSupport the store team in creating engaging, inspiring, and navigable product displays.
\n\tHelp execute layouts that promote top-performing products and respond to customer preferences.<\/p>\n
Finance<\/p>\n
\tSupport cost-effective use of visual materials by ensuring reusability and correct installation.
\n\tAssist in maintaining visual merchandising equipment and signage to reduce unnecessary spend.
\n\tFlag needs for new visual elements or replacements to the Visual Display Manager with sufficient lead time for budgeting.<\/p>\n
Requirements
\nWhat you\u2019ll need to do this role<\/p>\n
\tCertificate or Diploma in Visual Merchandising, Retail, or Fashion Design (preferred).
\n\t1\u20132 years of experience in visual merchandising, retail display, or store presentation (internship or entry-level experience acceptable).
\n\tExperience working in a retail store environment is an advantage.
\n\tMust be willing and able to travel nationally.
\n\tA valid South African driver\u2019s license<\/p>\n
