\tWe are seeking a highly skilled Planning and Compliance Specialist to lead governance, compliance, demand management, reporting, integration and financial expenditure processes. This critical role ensures the effective delivery of IM processes, fostering communication, collaboration, and knowledge management across governance and finance areas. By maintaining standards and reporting frameworks, you will help support and sustain enterprise technology, infrastructure, applications and mine technical systems.
\n\tAs part of your responsibilities, you will oversee the distribution of financial resources, manage budget planning, and provide strategic oversight to support the IM Planning and Compliance Manager. Your contributions will empower informed business decisions, ensuring operational excellence and financial integrity.

Core Responsibilities (amongst others): \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tLead a team of people who deliver and support Regional IM budgets for Global IM and Regional Support ACCSA Cost Centres & Kumba Iron Ore
\n\tDrive and implement rigorous processes and systems to execute cost management, finance expenditure and reporting.
\n\tReview cost structures, budget methodologies, and suggest improvements\/optimisation opportunities and complexity reduction.
\n\tDeveloping and managing budgets, monitoring expenditures against budget plans, and providing financial forecasts to support decision-making.
\n\tMonitoring budget performance and identifying areas for cost optimization.
\n\tEnsuring adherence to internal control procedures within the IM environment
\n\tManage finance expenditure and reporting including month\/quarter and year end.\u00a0
\n\tCommunicate and align with BU Finance teams
\n\tSubmit Forecasts to Global IM and ensure it is accuartely recorded in SAP.
\n\tFinance and Suppy Chain Governance
\n\tEnsure all applicable Vendor contracts are loaded on Ariba
\n\tContinually monitor relationships with vendors by faciliatating vendor SLA meetings
\n\tEnsure that the EMEA Licence renewals are performed before the expiry date.
\n\tMaintain Vendor register across all BU\u2019s monthly and review them on a regular basis.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tAn undergraduate qualification (Bachelors degree or equivalent) in the relevant Financial Acounting discipline and\/or relevant IM Discipline.
\n\tDesirable: It would be advantageous to have a postgraduate qualification in the related IM discipline OR a proven track record of extensive practical experience in a role and context of similar complexity.
\n\tPlanning and Compliance discipline and governance.
\n\tChange management and stakeholder engagement.
\n\tFinancial management expertise and experience
\n\tProven strategic vendor engagement and management
\n\tAligning vendor selection and management with overall business objectives
\n\tEnsuring vendors adhere to relevant industry regulations and company policies
\n\tProficient in effectively negotiating contract terms and pricing with vendors
\n\tStrong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices
\n\tProficient Stakeholder Engagement skills
\n\tExperience with ERP systems
\n\tExcellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively present financial information<\/p>\n
