\tTo manage the sales department in Johannesburg. Effective management of Sales Executives while maintaining our core values (Teamwork, Integrity, Innovation, Trust, Quality and Respect) and culture.<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas<\/p>\n
New business development<\/p>\n
\tLiaising with Sales Director to develop new products and identify new business areas.
\n\tEnsuring that all new business areas are fully exploited.
\n\tProviding continual feedback to Directors with regards to results obtained and product improvement.
\n\tEnsuring all new clients has signed SDB\u2019s Standard Terms and Conditions as well as Credit Application form in conformance to the stipulated and approved SDB ISO procedures.<\/p>\n
Ensure that sales targets are achieved<\/p>\n

\tNew Business Sales targets set for the Logistics Consultants
\n\tExisting Business growth targets set for the Logistics Consultants
\n\tGP% targets for all customers in the Sector.
\n\tProtect existing and nurture new relationships at a senior level with customers.
\n\tDeal with daily routine operational issues requiring the intervention of a manager.
\n\tCorrectly identify issues that need to be escalated, for whatever reason.
\n\tDevelop and maintain our product knowledge.
\n\tMonitor all Sales activities: accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, meetings, presentations, close sales and follow-up activities.
\n\tPromote Savino\u2019s brand via the most effective mediums.
\n\tSign-off incentives and commissions.
\n\tCoach, mentor and train Sales Executive to obtain the company and department goals.<\/p>\n
Qualifications Required<\/p>\n
\tMatric
\n\tA bachelor\u2019s degree in Sales and\/or Marketing or related National Diploma
\n\tRelevant tertiary qualification in logistics Air and Sea imports and exports would be advantageous.<\/p>\n
Experience Required<\/p>\n
\tMin 8 years of Management and Sales experience in Logistics and Transport and Supply Chain Management industry
\n\tValid Driver\u2019s License and own car<\/p>\n
