Key Roles & Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Packaged Volumes:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure that hl. packed by brand\/pack are in accordance with plan
\n\tSupply full beer to warehouse and agree on stock numbers
\n\tMaintain\/increase number of hl packed per day in accordance with plan and laid down factory efficiency standards<\/p>\n
Packaged Product Quality:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure that the packaging process is controlled such that all quality standards are maintained
\n\tImplement correct action to prevent substandard product and reinforce continuous improvement<\/p>\n
Productivity:<\/p>\n
\tAchieve and improve all targets i.e. hl per man hour; % GLY and hl \/ factory hour targets; % LEF and hl \/ machine hour targets
\n\tControl fixed costs, beer loss and container loss
\n\tPrepare and implement plans that produce required outcomes, including materials, machine maintenance and subordinate deployment
\n\tMotivate and manage human resource, including performance appraisals, discipline, administration, training, IR climate, absenteeism etc.
\n\tComply with laid down safety standards and statutory requirements
\n\tEnsure packaging line is clean \/ tidy at all times.
\n\tReport on efficiencies, downtime, and other production related issues
\n\tRecruit, select and appoint staff
\n\tOutplacement of staff
\n\tTeam and individual goals set and monitored<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tBSc Engineering or B-Tech Mechanical \/ Electrical
\n\tPackaging Traineeship (in-house)
\n\tPackaging experience (high speed plant and equipment)
\n\tAbility to work shifts
\n\tGood understanding OHS and NOSA requirements
\n\tShould have good verbal, sight and hearing abilities in order to be able to do the job as prescribed<\/p>\n
