KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS<\/p>\n

Provides input into Supply Chain planning and policy\u00a0development.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tProvides input into the development of the Supply Chain operational plan.\u00a0
\n\tProvides input into the development of Supply Chain policies and procedures.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Ensures alignment with relevant\u00a0legislation.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tCompliance to all relevant Supply Chain legislation\u00a0
\n\tCompliance to all internal policies and procedures with regard to Supply Chain Management\u00a0<\/p>\n
Conducts quotation and bid\u00a0requests.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tInvitation, evaluation and finalisation of quotes in line with policy and applicable legislation\u00a0
\n\tInvitation, evaluation and finalisation of bids in line with policy and applicable legislation\u00a0
\n\tPreparation of all documentation pertinent to above such as score sheets, evaluation reports, comparative schedules, other relevant reports, purchase orders, letters of appointment etc.\u00a0
\n\tInform line manager of any irregularities relating to the quotation and bid process.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Prepares and submits Supply Chain\u00a0reports.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tPreparation and submission to line manager of Commitment reports\u00a0
\n\tPreparation and submission to line manager of Exception reports\u00a0
\n\tPreparation and submission of BBBEE targets and reports\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tPreparation of service level agreements and contracts\u00a0
\n\tPreparation and submission to line manager of other relevant Supply Chain reports\u00a0<\/p>\n
Maintains a controlled\u00a0Environment.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tAccurate filing of all Supply Chain documentation\u00a0<\/p>\n
Meeting\u2019s\u00a0facilitation and secretariat support<\/p>\n
\tPreparation and facilitation of committee meetings when required.\u00a0
\n\tTaking of accurate minutes at Supply Chain meetings\u00a0
\n\tTyping up of minutes within agreed timeframes\u00a0
\n\tAttends Management meetings during line manager absence.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Process payment documentation\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tReceipt of\u00a0invoices with timely processing\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tSupporting documentation for requests, quotes, bids, invoices etc. to be attached to all relevant submissions and reports.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Providing guidance on Supply chain aspects\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tProvides guidance to all staff members on Supply Chain aspects.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Ad \u2013 Hoc Duties<\/p>\n
\tProvides management\u00a0with\u00a0information as requested during line manager absence.\u00a0
\n\tAssignments from CEO\/CFO\/ECS as and when required.<\/p>\n
Teamwork<\/p>\n
\tPerforming priority tasks during co-workers’ absence\u00a0
\n\tAbility to work closely with others.
\n\tBeing pro-active in assisting others
\n\tContribution to projects meetings and brainstorming sessions
\n\tMentoring and coaching of staff and interns
\n\tLiaising with various internal departments for smooth and quick turnaround of deals<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
\tA minimum of an appropriate recognised Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Public Management or Business Administration.\u00a0
\n\tAt least 4 years\u2019 experience working as a Supply Chain Management Officer or a similar role.\u00a0
\n\tSuperior analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and high degree of personal initiative
\n\tCompetency in MS Office and relevant databases and software
\n\tCustomer focus and bottom-line orientation
\n\tWell organized with excellent time management skills<\/p>\n
