Duties and responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tTyping\/editing of correspondence and documents
\n\tGeneral administrative duties e.g., emails, photocopying, etc
\n\tPreparing quotations for clients
\n\tChecking formality documents received from client and preparing responses
\n\tResponding to client queries and dispatching schedules of charges
\n\tSelecting and preparing for client, appropriate assignment forms depending on chain of transfer of rights; and various other forms
\n\tIdentifying South African applicant in light of mergers\/changes of name, etc.
\n\tPreparing patent and registered designs applications for filing in South Africa (including divisional and patents of addition) and reporting to client
\n\tLate filing of outstanding documents for applications in South Africa and reporting to client
\n\tChecking applications prepared and late filings
\n\tChecking correspondence and documents prepared and filed belatedly
\n\tWorking out invoices and invoicing clients
\n\tAmending\/correcting patent & design applications in South Africa
\n\tObtaining extensions of time for acceptance and registration, and for filing outstanding requirements
\n\tExpediting patent and design registrations and applications
\n\tDiarizing applications
\n\tOpening of files
\n\tApplying for new account numbers
\n\tApplying to amend existing account details
\n\tApplying for revenue stamps
\n\tCapturing charges onto file
\n\tDoing Debit and Credit notes
\n\tTo carry out any ad hoc duties that are commensurate with the job level
\n\tOpen cases in Patricia<\/p>\n
