Role Purpose:<\/p>\n
\tThe Business Analyst is responsible for understanding the business needs, processes, and challenges of the organization to identify solutions that align with strategic goals. This role involves gathering requirements, analyzing and documenting business processes, and working closely with stakeholders, project managers, and the IT development team to ensure successful delivery of IT solutions and\/or achieve project objectives<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Requirements Gathering:<\/p>\n
\tEngage with stakeholders to understand and document their business needs and requirements.
\n\tFacilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to gather comprehensive requirements.
\n\tTranslate business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications for IT projects.<\/p>\n
Process Analysis and Improvement:<\/p>\n
\tAnalyze existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
\n\tRecommend changes to enhance business performance and efficiency.
\n\tCreate process models, diagrams, and flowcharts to depict current and future states.<\/p>\n
Stakeholder Management:<\/p>\n
\tBuild and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
\n\tAct as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and the IT development team.
\n\tCommunicate project progress, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Solution Design and Validation:<\/p>\n
\tCollaborate with IT architects and developers to design solutions that meet business needs.
\n\tParticipate in solution validation and testing activities to ensure the solution meets the defined requirements.
\n\tAssist in the preparation of test cases and perform user acceptance testing (UAT).<\/p>\n
Documentation and Reporting:<\/p>\n
\tPrepare detailed documentation, including business requirements (BRSs), functional specifications, and user manuals.
\n\tProduce regular project status reports for stakeholders and senior management.
\n\tMaintain a clear and organized documentation repository.<\/p>\n
Project Management Support:<\/p>\n
\tAssist project managers in developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
\n\tMonitor project progress, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery.
\n\tSupport change management activities by helping to plan and execute the transition to new systems or processes.<\/p>\n
Continuous Improvement:<\/p>\n
\tStay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business analysis\u00a0
\n\tSuggest improvements to the BA practice within the organization, including tools, methodologies, and processes.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tEducation: Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Post graduate degree or relevant certification (e.g., BA Certification, PM) is a plus.<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\t3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT\/transformation projects.
\n\tProven experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution design.
\n\tExperience with Agile project methodologies.
\n\tProven track record of working on transformational cross functional projects<\/p>\n
Skills:<\/p>\n
\tStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n\tExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
\n\tProficiency in business analysis tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar.
\n\tUnderstanding of IT systems, databases, and software development processes.<\/p>\n
