Role Overview<\/p>\n
\tThe Human Capital Manager will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the company\u2019s human resources function, with a strong focus on aligning talent, culture, and capability with business goals. The role includes overseeing recruitment, performance management, industrial relations, learning and development, transformation, and organisational design, especially within a maintenance, project-driven and site-based environment.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and implement the human capital strategy aligned with business and project goals.
\n\tLead end-to-end workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding processes.
\n\tOversee employee relations, union engagement, and ensure legal compliance with labour legislation.
\n\tDrive training, development, and succession planning programmes across all departments.
\n\tMonitor HR performance metrics and ensure timely reporting to executive leadership.
\n\tChampion transformation, employment equity, and wellness programmes.
\n\tPartner with project and operations teams to ensure optimal workforce deployment and retention.
\n\tPromote a positive and compliant organisational culture across all sites.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field (postgraduate qualification advantageous).
\n\t8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or management role.
\n\tExperience in the engineering, construction, or project services sector is strongly preferred.
\n\tSolid knowledge of South African labour legislation, BBBEE, and HR best practices.
\n\tExcellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
\n\tExperience in supporting large-scale site operations and project-based teams.
\n\tProficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office tools.<\/p>\n
