\nJob Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Accounts Payable \/ Receivable<\/p>\n
\tProcess all accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.<\/p>\n
Cashbooks Management<\/p>\n
\tPerform daily bank imports and bank reconciliations.
\n\tManage petty cash transactions and records.
\n\tReconcile and process credit card transactions.
\n\tLoad weekly payments via Paysoft.<\/p>\n
Creditors (Accounts Payable)<\/p>\n
\tCapture a limited number of non-stock invoices.
\n\tPerform monthly creditors reconciliations.
\n\tOversee the loading and processing of month-end payments.<\/p>\n
Debtors (Accounts Receivable)<\/p>\n
\tProcess credit notes and ensure accurate allocation to customer accounts.<\/p>\n
General Administrative Duties<\/p>\n
\tScan, save, and file import documentation; develop a working knowledge of the import process.
\n\tPerform various administrative support tasks as required.
\n\tProvide backup support to the Debtors Clerk and Receptionist during periods of absence, including taking over their responsibilities as needed.
\n\tAssist and support the Financial Manager in day-to-day tasks and ad hoc duties, contributing to the smooth operation of the finance department.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key Requirements\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tReputable tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting.
\n\t5+ years of work experience as a Junior Accountant.
\n\tExperience in cloud accounting software such as Xero.
\n\tSolid understanding of accounting principles.
\n\tProficient in MS Office.
\n\tFamiliar with a collaborative team environment.
\n\tUphold and promote the company values and culture.
\n\tAdaptability and the ability to use initiative.<\/p>\n
