The\u00a0successful\u00a0candidate\u00a0will\u00a0be\u00a0responsible\u00a0for\u00a0the\u00a0following\u00a0key\u00a0performance\u00a0areas:<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for pre and post-contract quantity surveying duties including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variation, final account, etc.
\n\tComplete feasibility studies and write procurement reports outlining the sourcing strategy for corporate real estate.
\n\tProvide estimate and cost planning and present the final cost plan to the Divisonal Head: Programme Management.
\n\tWork closely with the Procurement Division and Legal Services Department with regards to the tendering activities, including the prequalification stage, drafting of the tender list, compilation of tender preliminaries, tender analysis, development of the tender report and contribute to the contractual documents.
\n\tContribute to the preparation and delivery of tender bids to market.
\n\tReview programme and project costing for accuracy and analyse valuations on larger projects.
\n\tProvide monthly post contract cost reports and presenting them to the relevant stakeholders.
\n\tInterface with internal and external stakeholders at all project stages.<\/p>\n

To\u00a0be\u00a0considered\u00a0for\u00a0this\u00a0position,\u00a0candidates\u00a0must\u00a0be\u00a0in\u00a0possession\u00a0of:<\/p>\n
\tan Honours degree (NQF8) in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
\n\ta professional registration with the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP).
\n\teight years\u2019 experience in cost management within the built environment.<\/p>\n
