Customer Service and Sales<\/p>\n
\tDeliver exceptional customer service at all times, across all sections of the Chocolate Shop and over the phone
\n\tGreeting all customers, \u201cWelcome to Lindt\u201d, hosting and providing a memorable experience
\n\tEducating and informing customers on Lindt chocolate products and handling with passion and in depth knowledge
\n\tActively sampling providing product knowledge and introducing products through discussion of taste profiles and ingredients
\n\tAwareness of daily sales budgets, actively upselling to increase customer transaction spend
\n\tInform all customers of current instore promotions, events and directed information
\n\tProvide customers assistance in the selection of quality Lindt products, encouraging additional sales
\n\tServing more than one customer at a time, acknowledging and communicating at all times
\n\tMulti task between completing store operational tasks and serving customers
\n\tProcessing the customer orders through the POS, and credit card transactions
\n\tOwn and manage individual tills, including counting floats and performing end of shift till procedure
\n\tPreparing big customer orders
\n\tEnsure complaints are addressed immediately by informing the Manager on duty
\n\tDevelop a rapport with regular customers encouraging repeat business. Maintain a pleasant friendly atmosphere within the store at all times
\n\tRestocking and cleaning through the day<\/p>\n
Product Knowledge<\/p>\n
\tComprehensive understanding of products including, but not limited to, product specifications (handling, ingredients, storage, allergens)
\n\tProduct pricing, packaging and category performance knowledge
\n\tComply with product management and handling procedures
\n\tCompliance to food and hygiene and safety standards practicing good hygienic practices<\/p>\n
General<\/p>\n

\n\tRecord sampling and wasted products actively quality controlling products
\n\tPerform open and closing procedures, signing off checklist

\n\tMaintain clean, tidy working areas at all times
\n\tEnsure all fixtures, glass cabinets and floors remain clean and tidy throughout the day
\n\tEnsure body language, mannerism, physical and verbal presentation upholds the company image and grooming policy
\n\tAccepting courier deliveries and confirming all items are received against invoice
\n\tAssisting in monthly stock counts
\n\tUnpacking, moving and restocking products
\n\tUsing all instore equipment, machines and appliances<\/p>\n
Work, health and safety<\/p>\n
\tComply with all work health and safety requirements
\n\tReport and damaged or dangerous equipment or property to management<\/p>\n
Manual Handling<\/p>\n
\tRepetitive lifting and moving of Lindt stock which can weigh up to 12kgs per unit
\n\tMoving stock from storerooms to front of house
\n\tMonitor sales on a daily basis with a goal to maximize store profitability without sacrificing customer service
\n\tTimely ordering of merchandise and supplies with focus on overall inventory management and loss prevention
\n\tDaily reconciling of cash with sales receipts, daily paperwork and accounting, and other store administration
\n\tConfident and interactive with a friendly disposition
\n\tExcellent communication skills with a strong work ethic that can represent a premium brand
\n\tResponsible and accountable in achieving individual goals and budgets
\n\tGood time management skills (multi-tasking and prioritizing)
\n\tSelf-starter with the ability to work individually and in a team
\n\tImmaculate grooming with excellent personal hygiene<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tPrevious experience in customer service
\n\tPrevious experience in a similar retail environment
\n\tGrade 12
\n\tProficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Powerpoint)
\n\tConfident and interactive with a friendly disposition<\/p>\n
