Role Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Custodial Administration<\/p>\n
\tLog and manage custodian changes, ensuring all updates are properly recorded and implemented where applicable.
\n\tSupport projects and the Change Team by addressing any CSDP (Customer Solution Delivery Process) requirements.
\n\tMaintain and update the CSDP contact list for OPS, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
\n\tProvide addendums on behalf of Curo in response to structural changes within the business.
\n\tCommunicate relevant custodian information across the organisation to ensure alignment and awareness.
\n\tIdentify errors, rectify omissions, and enhance systems and procedures to drive continuous<\/p>\n
Reconciliations & Reporting<\/p>\n
\tPerform regular reconciliations of custody accounts to ensure transaction accuracy and integrity.
\n\tSupport regulatory reporting requirements, maintaining compliance with industry standards and guidelines.<\/p>\n
Compliance & Risk Management<\/p>\n
\tEnsure all custodial activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards.
\n\tMaintain the CSDP issues log for all custodians, supporting Global Annual Surveys and Meetings.
\n\tOversee the KYC and recertification process for Curo, ensuring adherence to regulatory obligations.
\n\tPrepare and issue mandate letters authorising Curo to instruct on new accounts.
\n\tComplete the Global Custody Survey on behalf of Curo and its clients, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
\n\tProvide the Curo Authorised Signatory List annually for all teams, ensuring up-to-date records.<\/p>\n
Client & Stakeholder Coordination<\/p>\n
\tOrganise and facilitate meetings between Curo and the Custodian to address and resolve escalated queries.
\n\tCoordinate meetings for the onboarding of new accounts and Custodians, ensuring a smooth setup process.
\n\tArrange and support training sessions between Curo and the Custodians as needed.
\n\tParticipate in ad hoc due diligence visits with clients upon request, providing necessary insights and support.
\n\tCollaborate with internal teams to continuously improve and streamline custodial processes.<\/p>\n
Qualification and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
\n\tDiploma or course in SA Financial Market Instruments will be an advantage
\n\tBusiness Analysis will be advantageous
\n\tEnd-to-End HiPortfolio knowledge.
\n\tExposure to systems control or audit articles advantageous.
\n\tProficient Microsoft Office Suite.<\/p>\n
