Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tCreate, update, and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for all products, reflecting accurate components, materials, quantities, and costs.
\n\tEnsure BOM accuracy by reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and supplier information.
\n\tCollaborate with engineering, production, procurement, and quality control to gather and verify BOM data.
\n\tCoordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies or issues related to BOMs.
\n\tAnalyze BOM data to assess material costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend alternatives.
\n\tWork closely with procurement to ensure the availability of materials at optimal prices.
\n\tRevisions & updates to BOMs resulting from design changes, engineering updates, or product improvements.
\n\tCommunicate changes effectively to all relevant departments and stakeholders.
\n\tIdentify opportunities to streamline BOM-related processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance efficiency.
\n\tImplement best practices to standardize BOM creation and maintenance procedures.
\n\tProvide clear and accurate BOM information to relevant teams for planning, procurement, and production purposes.
\n\tCollaborate with engineering teams to ensure alignment between product designs and BOMs.<\/p>\n
