A global leader in the agricultural distribution chain is seeking the above to enhance the company’s back-office capabilities by ensuring the production of accurate financial statements, maintaining a high level of compliance, preparing monthly management packs, enabling timely decision-making, and optimizing cash management.<\/p>\n
Minimum requirements for the role:<\/p>\n
\tMust have a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
\n\tMaster\u2019s degree, CPA, ACCA, or CIMA certification is advantageous
\n\tMinimum 5 years\u2019 experience in financial analysis, accounting, or controlling, with expertise in financial reporting, consolidation, and tax compliance
\n\tProficient in financial tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau; ERP systems such as SAP, Sage; and financial reporting software
\n\tStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative working style<\/p>\n
The successful candidate will be responsible for:<\/p>\n
\tAnalyzing financial data, tracking KPIs, and generating insights to support strategic decisions.
\n\tPreparing regular financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses.
\n\tOverseeing all accounting transactions, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
\n\tManaging accounts payable\/receivable and general ledger reconciliations.
\n\tMaintaining and analyzing financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
\n\tPreparing consolidated financial statements and ensuring consistency across business units.
\n\tCalculating and filing taxes, ensuring adherence to local tax laws, and implementing updates as needed.
\n\tAssessing company liquidity and cash flow; providing optimization recommendations.
\n\tAssisting with budgeting, financial forecasting, and modeling to align with business goals.
\n\tMonitoring and controlling costs, identifying savings opportunities, and proposing efficiency strategies.
\n\tMaintaining compliance with internal and external policies; assisting in audits and implementing corrective actions.
\n\tCollaborating with other departments to deliver financial insight and improve business performance.<\/p>\n
