\tThe Professional Nurse, in collaboration with a multi-professional team, delivers safe, comprehensive, and quality nursing care according to their Scope of Practice regulations. They lead and coordinate nursing teams to enable optimal patient care.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS<\/p>\n
\tDeliver quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi-professional team
\n\tIdentify, prevent, and manage risks to ensure patient safety
\n\tFacilitate a positive client experience by creating a conducive environment
\n\tProvide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions
\n\tCreate a learning environment that builds staff competence
\n\tEnsure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charted<\/p>\n
REQUIRED EDUCATION

\tDiploma leading to registration as a General Nurse OR
\n\t4-year Nursing Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing<\/p>\n

\tPostgraduate Advanced Diploma in Midwifery
\n\tPostgraduate Diploma in Nursing (e.g. Critical Care, Emergency Care, Peri-oprative Nursing) if place in a specialist unit<\/p>\n
