{"id":10775,"date":"2025-05-28T15:32:32","date_gmt":"2025-05-28T15:32:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/account-manager-cape-town-regional-sales-manager-kzn-region\/"},"modified":"2025-08-29T00:24:35","modified_gmt":"2025-08-29T00:24:35","slug":"account-manager-cape-town-regional-sales-manager-kzn-region","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/?post_type=job_listing&p=10775","title":{"rendered":"Account Manager &#8211; Cape Town \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Regional Sales Manager &#8211; KZN Region"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n<p>In order to perform this role successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform these responsibilities satisfactorily:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tProvides purpose fit solutions through an in-depth understanding of specific client needs relating to the services Metrofile provides.<br \/>\n\tEngages with clients on a regular basis to maintain sound relationships.<br \/>\n\tActs as primary contact between clients and Metrofile for purposes of:<br \/>\n\tnegotiating prices within the parameters of the Authority Framework<br \/>\n\tproviding customised solutions<br \/>\n\tproblem\/issue resolution<br \/>\n\tStays abreast of and informs the Sales Manager\/ Sector Head of changing market and competitor trends.<br \/>\n\tMaintains a current and updated database on all clients in own portfolio.<br \/>\n\tKeeps informed of legislative requirements pertaining to document &amp; records management.<br \/>\n\tEnsures effective classification of client information to ensure fast and accurate retrieval.<br \/>\n\tEnsures effective management of documentation and records as defined within the customer\u2019s document retention strategy by informing customers of past due dates.<br \/>\n\tCompiles and reports on boxes past due on a quarterly basis.<br \/>\n\tDevelop Account Plans as agreed with Sales Manager\/ Sector Head for the allocated Portfolio in order to leverage new opportunities and ensure customer retention.<br \/>\n\tReports sales and service statistics to the Sales &amp; Service Manager\/ Sector Head on a weekly basis.<br \/>\n\tEnsures that the service offering provided satisfies customers\u2019 needs and identifies leads across their allocated Sector Heads within their Portfolios.<br \/>\n\tResolve all enquiries or queries escalated to you within a reasonable timeframe and communicates concerns relating to service delivery to Operations and to respective support and management personnel. Ensures remediation thereof.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that your portfolio is sufficiently serviced to ensure customer satisfaction.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that clients\u2019 portfolios data integrity is accurately maintained.<br \/>\n\tAssists with preparing and presenting business proposals to both existing and new potential customers<br \/>\n\tMaintains close relationships with the Sector Head in order to capitalise on opportunities identified.<br \/>\n\tEnsures effective management of documentation and records as defined within the customer\u2019s document retention strategy by informing customers of past due dates.<br \/>\n\tDeals with, resolves and reports on issues, concerns and complaints as relates to your portfolio or allocated clients.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and\/or ability required.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\t3 year Degree\/Diploma\/Higher Diploma in Sales\/Marketing\/Retail Management<br \/>\n\tAt least 3 years\u2019 experience in a sales\/business development role preferably in\u00a0Information Services\/ Warehousing\/ Logistics or similar environment<br \/>\n\tPostgraduate qualification is business administration will be highly advantageous<br \/>\n\tAccount management experience in document management and archival related or similar industry sales will be preferable<br \/>\n\tMust have business to business (B2B) experience<br \/>\n\tMust have excellent track record in delivering high level sales presentations<br \/>\n\tMust have excellent track record in meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets<br \/>\n\tMust have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<br \/>\n\tMust have a flair and drive for sales<br \/>\n\tMust hardworking and solutions driven<br \/>\n\tMust be a team player<br \/>\n\tMust have business acumen and be able to communicate with senior to top management levels<br \/>\n\tMust be prepared to travel between sites\/clients<br \/>\n\tMust be highly computer literate<br \/>\n\tDemonstrate excellent organisational skills<br \/>\n\tMust have experience in tender document preparation<br \/>\n\tMust have own vehicle and valid driver\u2019s licence<\/p>\n<p>go to method of application \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( N \/ A ) or<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"Metrofile","_company_website":"http:\/\/N%20\/%20A","_company_tagline":"Metrofile is the market leader in both physical and digital information and records management in Africa.
