What you\u2019ll do:<\/p>\n
\tWork closely with the head of content and head of digital content to plan monthly editorial videos for all TASTE channels that align with the client\u2019s trade priorities while also servicing the TASTE audience
\n\tEnsure that the videography and editing is of the highest possible standard in line with WW\u2019s brand positioning
\n\tDevelop a planning process for video using the team workflow tools and updating the video schedules regularly
\n\tEngage with influencers and video hosts and brief with regard to recipe requirements and the content of their videos
\n\tWork closely with the head of operations to book hosts, stylists, videographer and photographers for video shoots to remain on schedule for the go-live dates
\n\tCreate detailed briefs and pull references where required for the videographer\/editor \u2013 supply these ahead of the shoot
\n\tAttend shoots and provide direction on set in line with the channel format and creative requirements as briefed by the client
\n\tCreate scripts for shoots, if required, and ensure that any changes to recipes (for example) are captured on set for the version to be posted online
\n\tSupply editing briefs after the shoot and oversee the internal edit process with the videographer, providing reverts and feedback from head of digital content and head of content
\n\tSupply final video assets to client and manage the external revert process with the videographer
\n\tSupply final video assets to the TASTE online editor and social media editors
\n\tWork closely with the head of digital content and keep abreast of changing social media platform formats, algorithm changes, food content and video trends to optimise content performance<\/p>\n
What you\u2019ll bring:<\/p>\n
\tStrong interpersonal skills \u2013 a good communicator who can get the best out of hosts on camera but also work well with a diverse range of influencers, chefs and other hosts
\n\tVisual storytelling abilities with a good eye for food aesthetics
\n\tStrong understanding of social media platforms and their specific content requirements
\n\tGood project management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects
\n\tStrong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team and client interactions
\n\tAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
\n\tCreative problem-solving skills and adaptability
\n\tAttention to detail while maintaining sight of the bigger picture
\n\tFood knowledge and knowledge of the South African food content space will be advantageous
\n\tVideo editing experience with tools like CapCut will be advantageous<\/p>\n
What we require:<\/p>\n
\t3+ years of experience in video production\/direction for social media, with at least a year of this in food content creation
\n\tProven track record of producing high-volume, high-quality social media video content that drives engagement and conversion
\n\tStrong portfolio of video content (preferably food-related) produced across various social media platforms
\n\tKnowledge of video production equipment, lighting techniques specific to food, and post-production processes
\n\tKnowledge of video approval tools \u2013 eg. Wipster
\n\tExperience working on food shoots and working with food stylists beneficial<\/p>\n
