\n\tMinimum of 5+ years’ experience in mining operations, with at least 2-5 years in a managerial role Experience in the electronics industry\/mining industry and\/or with materials used in electronics manufacturing
\n\tOwn Transport and valid driver’s license
\n\tWilling to work overtime and travel when required.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Account Management:<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and maintain strong relationships with existing mine accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
\n\tIdentify and cultivate new business opportunities within the mining sector.
\n\tServe as the primary point of contact for key accounts, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
\n\tEnsure on-site delivery to meet SLA requirements.<\/p>\n
Sales Strategy and execution:<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
\n\tConduct market research to identify trends, customer needs and competitive landscape.
\n\tPrepare and deliver presentations, proposals and sales contracts to potential and existing clients.<\/p>\n
Customer Relations and Service:<\/p>\n
\tProvide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues and ensuring timely delivery of products and services.
\n\tConduct regular meetings with key accounts to review performance, discuss future needs and explore opportunities for collaboration.<\/p>\n
Technical Support and consultation:<\/p>\n
\tCollaborate with the technical team to provide customers with expert advice and solutions tailored to their specific requirements.
\n\tStay informed about the latest advancements in mining technology and electronics materials to offer cutting-edge solutions to customers.<\/p>\n
Negotiation and contract management:<\/p>\n
\tNegotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
\n\tEnsure all contracts and agreements are in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.<\/p>\n
Sales reporting and analysis:<\/p>\n
\tMaintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions and pipeline status in the sales process.
\n\tAnalyse sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
\n\tPrepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.<\/p>\n
Collaboration and coordination:<\/p>\n
\tWork closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
\n\tCoordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery and availability of products to meet customer demands.
\n\tEnsure efficient installation and repair of safety equipment so that products are functioning according to required standards.
\n\tRespond promptly to customer call-out requests in the event of breakdowns.
\n\tEffectively resolve breakdowns within required timelines (identify, analyse and find solutions to problems)
\n\tProject manage large and small projects according to company project management schedules and templates.
\n\tFeed new product design ideas or upgrades from customer to R&D team and provide feedback to customer with the R&D team’s recommendations
\n\tComplete reporting requirements and administration timeously and accurately (COCs, invoices, PODs, procurement card slips, SLAs, SRs, time sheets etc.)<\/p>\n
Resource Planning:<\/p>\n
\tPlan and coordinate the allocation of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
\n\tDevelop and implement strategies for efficient resource utilization.
\n\tEnsure adequate supplies of critical materials and equipment<\/p>\n
Staff Management\/Team Leadership:<\/p>\n
\tLead and manage a team of Site Supervisors and Technicians.
\n\tEnsure staff adherence to company policies and procedures.
\n\tOversee new staff acquisition, including interviewing, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
\n\tAssist Human Resources with disciplinary actions and non-performance procedures<\/p>\n
