Key Duties & Responsibilities<\/p>\n
POS System Support<\/p>\n
\tAssist with basic POS setup, menu updates, and configuration under supervision
\n\tHelp monitor system performance and report malfunctions to the POS Manager
\n\tSupport the rollout of system updates and new features at store level<\/p>\n
Data & Transaction Assistance<\/p>\n
\tVerify accuracy of daily sales data entry and transaction records
\n\tAssist in compiling basic sales reports for review by management
\n\tFlag discrepancies in data flow or recording for resolution<\/p>\n
Technical Assistance<\/p>\n
\tProvide first-level support for common POS issues (e.g., printer errors, login problems)
\n\tEscalate complex technical problems to the POS Manager or IT team
\n\tHelp maintain POS hardware (terminals, printers, scanners) in working order<\/p>\n
Training & Documentation Support<\/p>\n
\tShadow the POS Manager to learn system best practices
\n\tAssist in preparing user guides and training materials for staff
\n\tSupport new employee onboarding by demonstrating basic POS functions<\/p>\n
Administrative Tasks<\/p>\n
\tMaintain logs of system issues and resolutions
\n\tOrganize POS-related documentation (manuals, update records)
\n\tCoordinate with vendors for equipment servicing (as directed)<\/p>\n

\tEducation: Matric certificate, IT Diploma or degree advantageous \u00a0
