\nFUNCTIONAL OUTPUTS<\/p>\n
\tComply with all Customer rules and procedures when operating at Customer sites.
\n\tAssist the Explosives Controller to conduct routine fault finding, trouble shooting, maintenance and repairs on the MMU process plant and chassis.
\n\tAssist the Site Administrator with stock control.
\n\tLoad and unload the MMU with the correct raw materials.
\n\tUnload raw materials (emulsion Matrix and Expan tankers).
\n\tCleaning and decontamination of MMU.
\n\tIdentification of any abnormal conditions on the MMU and within the work area and reporting thereof to the Explosives Controller and\/or Site Supervisor.
\n\tMaintain ownership of bulk explosives MMU by conducting good housekeeping of the cab, chassis and plant.
\n\tMinimize and clean up any raw material spillage and dispose of any spillage in the correct waste streams.
\n\tEnsure correct PPE is used is in good condition and is correctly worn at all times.
\n\tHousekeeping of work area.
\n\tIdentify workplace hazards and associated risks and deal with it appropriately ( Hirac & Risk Assessment).
\n\tKnowledge of relevant hand tools.
\n\tKnowledge of emergency procedures.
\n\tComply to the Mine`s safety and health procedures.
\n\tAttend to mines induction training.
\n\tMaintain basic safety, health and environment issues.
\n\tAssess the product application practices.
\n\tIdentify incorrect product application practices.
\n\tDemonstrate and coach the correct practices.<\/p>\n
Requirement<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements and Experience<\/p>\n
\tMust have Grade 12.
\n\t1-2 years\u2019 experience in the mining or similar environment.
\n\tPossession of a valid code C Driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n
Advantageous<\/p>\n
\tBlasting Assistant Certificate.
\n\tCompetency A Certificate.<\/p>\n
