Job Specification (not totally inclusive)<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for cash management and local and global reporting;
\n\tResponsible for Treasury function and managing the treasury team;
\n\tResponsible for the Accounts payable function;
\n\tResponsible for managing relationships with internal and external auditors to ensure the effective conducting of audit process;
\n\tDeveloping, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing internal controls within internal control framework and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirement;
\n\tResponsible for statutory and Global tax reporting requirement for South Africa;
\n\tProviding advisory and support related to preparation and submission of annual financial statements and statutory returns;
\n\tReviewing of annual financial statements to ensure compliance with IFRS prior to presenting to external auditors for audit purposes;
\n\tPreparation and analysing of annual financial statements and management accounts through understanding of income Tax, VAT, and other legislations; and
\n\tReview on request of monthly\/weekly payroll files, journals, and reconciliations.<\/p>\n
Qualifications\/Requirements<\/p>\n
\tRegistered Chartered Accountant with at least a minimum of 5 years post articles experience;
\n\tExperience in preparing cash forecasts and cash flow analyses is essential;
\n\tStrong understanding of developing of internal controls and SOX procedures;
\n\tKnowledge of investment portfolio strategy, banking, and financial instruments.
\n\tExperience with integrated financial accounting systems (e.g., SAP or similar) within a medium to large organisation;
\n\tComputer literate in MS office suit (advanced excel); and
\n\tMust have own car and valid driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n
